People who want the best BMX bikes the West Midlands has to offer will be pleased to hear that bike parking is about to improve.
A new and innovative solution has been unveiled called the Shuffle Cycle, which uses LED lights to allow people to see if there are free docking spaces available for their bikes, as well as secure locking stations, all in a single LED lighting column.
It also comes with an in-built PA system, Wi-Fi connectivity and electric charging ports.

Cycling to work is becoming increasingly popular for people who want to reap the health benefits and cost-effectiveness of cycling as household finances are squeezed further. A recent report by Transport for London that showed a with a 63 per cent increase in cycling traffic since 2005.
However thefts put off a huge number of people, as there is a significant problem in this country with the number that take place: with 297,000 reported cases of bicycle theft in England and Wales in 2016.
One of the problems for local authorities has been a lack of affordable and accessible, easy to use bike security systems to use at train stations and in car parks.
It is hoped that this new innovation will give cyclists even more opportunities to use their bikes, safe in the knowledge that security is less of an issue than ever before.
